Free Vaccination Brochures and DVDs Available

n4a teamed up with the Alliance for Aging Research on the public education campaign Our Best Shot: The Importance of Vaccines for Older Adults to educate older adults about how vaccines work, why they are important and what older adults need as they age. The centerpiece of the campaign is a free workshop toolkit designed for leaders hosting workshops for older adults and caregivers on the basics of vaccination.
The toolkit resources include a short “pocket” film highlighting how vaccines work and why they are important for older adults, participant quizzes, a slide presentation to guide discussion throughout the workshop and an educational brochure, Quick Guide to Vaccination, which the Alliance for Aging Research and n4a mailed to all AAAs and Title VIs this fall.
