Webinar: I&R Critical to Link People to Transportation

Transportation continues to be a top reason for older adults to contact national Information and Referral (I&R) resources like the Eldercare Locator

On September 15 at 3 p.m. ET, n4a will partner with NASUAD and AIRS to host a webinar, "Innovative Routes in Transportation." The webinar will highlight the critical role of I&R programs in linking older adults and people with disabilities to transportation options.

n4a's Virginia Dize, Co-Director, National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC) and Patrice Earnest, Director, Eldercare Locator will discuss the role of mobility managers in helping people navigate transportation options and will share examples of innovative programs like Atlanta's "One Call/One Click" program. The program provides an easy-to-use online assessment tool that links people to transportation services, taking into account factors like their disability, veteran status and the type of equipment needed.

Register now and don't miss out on this informative and important webinar!

The NADTC is a program of the Federal Transit Administration administered by Easterseals and n4a.
