New Webinars Focus on CBO-Health Care Partnerships

The National Aging and Disability Business Center is pleased to announce its upcoming webinars on September 21 at 1 p.m. ET and September 28 at 1 p.m. ET

These sessions will focus on successful collaborations between health care entities and community-based organizations.

A Promising Collaboration: Managed Care and Independent Livingfeaturing Pamela Mokler, VP of LTSS at Care1st Health Plan & Louis Frick, Executive Director at Access to Independence—will take place on September 21 at 1 p.m. ET. 

This webinar will focus on a successful CBO-MCO partnership in San Diego, CA, between Care1st Health Plan and Access to Independence (a2i), an organization serving people with disabilities. 
 
Tapping Into New Payment and Delivery Models: An Innovative AAA-ACO Partnership to Improve Care and Reduce Costsfeaturing Larry Gross, Executive Director of The Southern Maine Agency on Aging (SMAA) and Elizabeth Johnson, President & CEO of MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization (ACO)will take place on September 28 at 1p.m. ET. 

Presenters will highlight a CBO-ACO partnership in Maine that resulted in better care, lower costs and opportunities for diversifying the CBO funding stream.
 
This monthly webinar series—a collaboration of n4a and ASA—is one of many efforts to provide the Aging and Disability Networks with important training and technical assistance opportunities.
