n4a Releases Analysis of Final Managed Care Regulations

In the spring, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released final regulations on Medicaid Managed Care.
After reviewing the final regulation, n4a has released an analysis of how the regulations could impact the ability of the Aging Network and Area Agencies on Aging to support older adults and people with disabilities who are receiving Medicaid services under managed care. Overall, CMS left many decisions to states regarding how managed care systems are structured, and it is imperative that local agencies and advocates weigh in with your states as they implement the final rule.
