AAA National Survey to Be Launched Soon: Stay Tuned!

In the two years since “Trends and New Directions: Area Agencies on Aging Survey 2014” was released, it's findings have been invaluable nationally and locally as members implement best practices in the Aging Network.

The 2016 AAA survey will be launched shortly and AAAs will be receiving individual survey links soon.

AAAs are adapting rapidly to a changing environment while maintaining continuity in service delivery. Your responses to the AAA survey ensure that the on-the-ground facts are identified and disseminated. Key findings from the 2014 report included the following:
  • AAAs are refining services to meet the needs of an expanding consumer base. More AAAs are offering consumer-directed services or forming partnerships with managed care organizations and other health organizations.
  • AAAs are managing changes in the funding landscape by developing new funding mechanisms, such as private pay options, while having an increased focus on tracking consumer outcomes.
  • There is increasing involvement in elder abuse prevention coalitions and multi-disciplinary teams with the ultimate goal of keeping older adults safe in their homes and in the community.
Key findings are only as good as the data that is submitted. Ensure your agency's voice is heard in 2016! Stay tuned for further emails on the AAA survey. Contact Meredith Eisenhart at meisenhart@n4a.org with any questions.
