Home for the Holidays Campaign to Focus on Healthy Aging

After nearly 18 months of living with COVID-19, many of us, including the older adults we serve, could benefit from checking-up on healthy aging habits. This is why the Eldercare Locator's 2021 Home for the Holidays campaign will focus on educating older adults and caregivers on some of the simple questions they can ask to check in with themselves and their older loved ones—and how to access services provided by the Aging Network that can enhance the ability of older adults to age well in their homes and communities.

The focal point of this year's campaign will be a consumer brochure that will be available in English and Spanish and can be customized with your agency's contact information. We're also developing a toolkit that will include a variety of materials that organizations in the Aging Network can share directly with older adults. In the meantime, please take our short survey to let us know how you will participate in this year's campaign and what materials you'd like to see.

About the Home for the Holidays Campaign
Tied to the holiday season, the annual Eldercare Locator campaign encourages families to start conversations about what can be considered difficult topics about the health and welfare of older adults in their families. The Eldercare Locator is funded by ACL and administered by USAging.
