USAging Resources to Address Homelessness Among Older Adults

Adults aged 50 and older are the fastest-growing population experiencing homelessness. Many older adults live on fixed incomes, making it difficult to afford housing and nutritious meals while managing health conditions and functional limitations. This growing crisis underscores the urgent need for solutions and resources that address the unique challenges faced by older adults without stable housing.

With support from Next50, USAging provides resources to help AAAs and Continuums of Care (CoCs) collaborate on community-based strategies that prevent and reduce homelessness among older adults. Together with our partner, the National Alliance to End Homelessness, we are committed to creating pathways to stability and dignity for older adults.
