n4a, NANASP Working with Tivity Health to Increase Meals Capacity of Our Members

Given the incredible demand for nutrition resources to meet the unique needs of older adults during the COVID-19 crisis, n4a and the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Providers (NANASP) have entered into an agreement with Tivity Health® to help fill any food product gaps our members are experiencing. Read the press release.
While the Aging Network’s traditional providers and vendors continue to go above and beyond to meet the rising need, n4a is working hard to create new opportunities for our members so they can meet the difficult challenges they face as a result of this public health emergency.

For many years, n4a has partnered with Tivity Health to promote healthy aging through its legacy brand SilverSneakers®, the nation’s leading community fitness program. In partnership with Tivity Health, we are excited to offer our members a discounted source of additional frozen and shelf-stable meals, as well as meal components useful for emergency kits. Nutrisystem and South Beach meals and products can fill agency gaps with heart-healthy options to meet the need for food during this unprecedented time.  

The n4a-NANASP-Tivity Health agreement provides a 1-800 number for n4a members to order bulk shipments of discounted products. The agreement is a temporary, COVID-specific response to address the needs raised by many of our members and will expire at the end of December.
