USAging’s Aging and Disability Vaccination Collaborative is accepting applications on a rolling basis for community vaccination promotion efforts targeted to helping older adults and people with disabilities get vaccinated against COVID-19 and the seasonal flu.

With funding from ACL, the Aging and Disability Vaccination Collaborative distributes grants that enable organizations across the aging and disability networks to perform an array of vaccination promotion activities, including community vaccine clinics, in-home vaccinations and transportation to vaccination sites, as well as outreach and education to older adults and people with disabilities among other activities.

There are two options to apply for funds through this grant, through us at USAging or through the National Council on Aging (NCOA). Area Agencies on Aging, Centers for Independent Living, Aging and Disability Resource Centers, state No Wrong Door systems, other ACL-funded disability networks and other community-based organizations that serve older adults and people with disabilities are eligible to apply through USAging. Senior centers, community centers, local community and faith-based organizations that serve older adults and people with disabilities, governmental agencies and other federally recognized nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply through NCOA.

If you want to apply but are not sure which option is right for your organization—or just have questions about the ADVC—send an email to advc@usaging.org.
